TIFFIN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION City of Tiffin February 3, 1999 A regular meeting of the Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission was brought to order by Chair Dan O’Halloran at 6:30 p.m., February 3, 1998 at the Tiffin Fire Station. Tiffin Planning and Zoning Members present: Dan O’Halloran, Tina Walls, Steve Berner, Terry Richardson and Melvin Reeve. Also present: Planner Mike Hart and Mayor Glenn Potter. Motion Berner, second Walls to recommend approval of a site easement for South Slope Cooperative of approximately 30' X 30' for locating a utility pedestal. Ayes: Richardson, Berner, Walls, Reeve and O’Halloran. Motion carried. Mike Singer updated members on annexation proceedings on the east side of the city. Annexation for ground sitting east of the city and south of Highway #6 will be considered at the upcoming meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Planning and Zoning members gave recommendation for JCCOG assistance to Mike Singer including: 1) bus transportation to Coralridge 2) I-80 and Highway #6 connector 3) pedestrian trail Coralville mutual planning efforts 4) Hwy#6 study for possible elementary school location east of city. Mike said he would be getting members boundary survey information for the newly leased park area for their review. Chair O’Halloran suggested that the members review policies now in place and provide ideas for future focus. Motion Walls, second Berner to adjourn.
