NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO: ALL OWNERS OF REAL ESTATE SITUATED WITHIN TIFFIN, IOWA, AND ALL PERSONS OWNING OR CLAIMING AN INTEREST THEREIN AND TO: WHOM IT MAY CONCERN YOU AND EACH OF YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing at the Tiffin Fire Station, Tiffin, Iowa, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at which time and place said council will consider as follows: An amendment to Ordinance No. 1996-217 (Zoning) to provide an expiration date for variances granted by the Board of Adjustments. The amendment proposed is as follows: City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 1998-217 Section 5.16.F.5(a)(4)(g) is hereby added as follows: (g) Variances granted by the Board of Adjustment shall expire one year from the date they are granted by the Board, if the variance allows construction, that it is not initiated within that one (1) year and completed by the following year. YOU AND EACH OF YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that at said public hearing as indicated above, all persons having an interest or concern will be afforded an opportunity to be heard in support of or in opposition to said amendment to City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 1996-217, and thereafter, the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, may take such action as it deems appropriate.
