Motion carried. Motion Kern, second Gericke to amend SRF Application with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for an additional $782,254 for the 1999 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project. Current loan acceptance is at $922,000, new total will be $1,782,254 on file with Shirley Christofferson, Budgets/Grants, IDNR, Wallace State Office Bldg, Des Moines, IA 50309. Ayes: Kern, Bartels, and Gericke. Nays: None. Absent: Ryan, and Walls. Motion carried. Motion Gericke, second Bartels to approve an award of 1999 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements contract to low bid submitted by Wendler Engineering of South Amana at $1,476,232.80. Motion carried. The Mayor will look into tree removal work on Main Street. Preliminary and Final Plat J & L Haman Subdivision in Johnson County, a portion of the SE ¼ of Sec. 24 T80 N-R8W, located north of Highway #6 and east of Kent Park for 1.99 Acres from Agricultural to Residential was considered to be outside the 2 mile jurisdiction of the City. Motion Bartels, second Gericke to provide no comment and approve outside the two mile jurisdiction to a Preliminary and Final Plat J & L Haman Subdivision within Johnson County owners: David and Rose Bollei, 2126 Highway No. 6 NW, Tiffin, IA., and Subdividers: Jon and Laurie Haman, 3338 Black Hawk NW #505, Oxford, IA.
