RESOLUTION NO. 2026-040 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, has the authority to appoint members to the Planning and Zoning Commission pursuant to the Code of Iowa and the City Code of Tiffin; and Whereas, a vacancy currently exists on the Planning and Zoning Commission for a term is set to expire February 28, 2030; and Whereas,, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to appoint a qualified individual to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Tiffin appoints Tia Showalter to fill the open position on the Planning and Zoning Commission. On this ___ day of June, 2026, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson _____ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2026-040, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval.
