AGENDA ITEM # K-2 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: July 1, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Position Promotion for Colton Beckler from Public Works Worker I to Public Works Worker II ACTION: Motion SYNOPSIS: Attached is a recommendation letter from Brian Detert to promote Nate Wessling from Public Works Worker I to Public Works Worker II. Years ago when the City performed its wage study, certain positions within various departments established growth positions to accommodate the anticipated growth and personnel expansion of the City. I would echo Brian’s rational for Nate’s promotion. I have had a chance to observe Nate’s development and display of leadership since he was hired. I support and also recommend the promotion of Nate to the Public Works Worker II position.
