Roll Call The City ofTiffin City Council held awork session Tuesday, December 2,2024, atthe City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Pro-Tem Orris called themeeting toorder at6:02PM. Upon rollbeing called the following members were present: Eric Schnedler, Skylar Limkemann, AlHavens, Chris Olney, andTim Orris. Absent: Mayor Kasparek. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt andCity Clerk Abigail Hora. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion toapprove agenda byOlney. Second bySchnedler. Allayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion ofPossible Rezoning ofLots 7,8and 9ofPrairie West Addition and Review ofSite Exhibit Discussion: Greg Stiltner addressed thecouncil onthepotential siteplan for theproposed rezoning ofLots 7, 8,and9ofthePrairie West Addition. Currently, thearea iszoning O-10andisproposed toberezoned toR- 8,inorder toconstruct six, 7-plex multi-family units. Greg shared hisstruggles tomarket those lots commercially and therefore thinks converting them toresidential lotswould bethehighest use. Council asked questions ofthesiteplan both forcontinued commercial useandtheproposed residential use. First reading ontheordinance willbeattheJanuary 7,2025, council meeting. D. Discussion and Review ofTruck Parking Ordinance isResidential Districts Discussion: Council andCity Administrator Doug Boldt reviewed twodifferent ordinances fortruck parking. One ordinance does not allow parking during acertain timewhile theother oneaddresses the weight ofthe truck andanything over acertain weight isnot allowed. Council directed City Administrator todraft upa new ordinance andCouncil willreview. Apublic hearing ofthisordinance willbesetatthe next meeting. E. Questions from Council Members regarding items ontheRegular City Council Agenda orReports F. Other Business G.
