My family moved to Tiffin in 2021 amidst a pandemic that was still very much secluding us all to our own bubbles. As one can imagine, that was not conducive to meeting new people nor getting to know a new town. With a one year old and aspirations of growing my family, finding some semblance of community was crucial. That’s about the time the library came into our lives and changed everything. After my second child was born, I went to the library regularly with both my children, where I met one of the best librarians who was also freshly postpartum. We bonded over our shared experiences and she enthusiastically invited me to join the library book club and several story-times and a plethora of events the library offers for children and adults alike. My kids and I make trips to the library several times a week; it is a staple in our weekly routine. The experiences we have had and the people we have met along the way at such an important time in our lives is truly priceless. We owe a lot to the library and we will be forever grateful for the friendship, guidance, knowledge, and joy we have experienced. We now know what being part of a community means. -Stacy Jack (Tiffin) My family and I absolutely love having Springmier Library so close to home. Whether it's an afternoon visit to the children's play area and books or Tiny Tot Story Time on Tuesday mornings, our toddler could spend hours at the library. It has also been a great way for my wife and I to connect with other parents with kiddos around the same age. The cherry on top of it all is that Ms. Liz and her team are so unbelievably kind and make everyone who walks through the door feel welcome and accepted. -Josh Schneiderman (Tiffin)
