Roll Call The City ofTiffin CityCouncil held awork session Wednesday, August 5,2026, attheTiffin City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Kasparek called the meeting toorder at6:00PM. Upon rollbeing called the following members were present: Tim Orris, Eric Schnedler arrived at6:02PM, Skylar Limkemann and Tony Johnson. Absent: Chris Olney. Others present were City Administrator Doug Boldt, Assistant City Administrator Ashley Platz, andCityClerk Abigail Hora. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion toapprove agenda byOrris. Second byJohnson. Allayes, motion carried. C. Discussion and Review ofVarious Recreation Center topics fortheopening oftheFacility Discussion: Recreation Director Grant Weber reviewed various topics related tothenew Recreation Center, with themain discussion focused onworkout equipment. The Cityisproposing topurchase the strength equipment andlease thecardio equipment, with several package options presented toCouncil; Council gave thegreen light tomove forward, withaformal agreement tobebrought backatthenext Council meeting. sitefortheRecreation Center opening, with adate tobeannounced astheopening gets closer. Staffing needs were discussed, including part-time positions forthe Recreation Center that willbeposted next week. Lastly, Grant discussed thepossibility of creating adedicated Recreation Center website andwillcontinue looking into options, with the goal of moving forward with awebsite inthefuture. D.
