Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, November 7, 1962. The meeting was called to order by Mayor O'Toole. Present: Bob Svatos, Bill Verry, Glenn Potter, Ted Spivey, Wayne Stratton Absent: None. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Bill moved, Bob seconded the motion that the following money be accepted: Clear Creek School . . $45.00 Fritz LeGrand . . . . 1.00 (permit to sell) Johnson Co. Treas. . . 924.81 $970.81. Carried. OLD BUSINESS: Mayor reported that application is ready to be sent in for loan for preliminary survey of sewage system. Wayne agreed to call about getting a copy of county codes for help in up-dating Tiffin codes. Christmas light wiring has been ordered from Flansburg's and will be assembled by council members when it is received. NEW BUSINESS: Glenn made the motion, seconded by Ted, to purchase a uniform for Town Marshal, and shoulder patches if necessary. Carried. The uniform style was selected. Wayne moved that a street light be permitted on the pole in front of Ingham property on the west side of Grant Street--pole located approximately 150-200 feet south of the intersection. Bill moved that this be further investigated. Wayne was then appointed to make the investigation and obtain the opinion of adjoining property owners; namely, residents of Ingham and Summerhays.
