RESOLUTION Approving contract and bond WHEREAS, heretofore and in strict compliance with the provisions of Chapter 391 of the Code of Iowa, and all other pertinent legislation, this Town through this Council did enter into a contract with Clear Construction Co., of West Des Moines, covering the Town's construction of sewage works and facilities; and WHEREAS, the said contract has been duly executed by the said contractor and the Town and is accompanied by an appropriate performance bond; and WHEREAS, the said contract has been duly examined by this Council; now therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That the contract referred to in the preamble hereof between the Town of Tiffin and Clear Construction Co., dated the 18th day of August, 1964, in the amount of $27,122.00, be and the same is hereby approved. Section 2. That the performance bond accompanying such contract wherein Clear Construction Co. appears as principal and Maryland Casualty Co. of the City of Baltimore, Maryland as surety, in like amount, be and the same is hereby approved. Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
