The special meeting of the Tiffin Town Council was called to order on May 17, 1967 by Mayor Wayne Stratton. Present: Glenn Potter, Bill Bream, Ted Spivey Absent: Jim O'Toole, Will Verry Mr. Tucker was present at the meeting and explained the next steps we would have to take toward the water system. The votes to the election were canvassed. The pond for the sewer plant was again discussed and it was decided to get plans and see if Dickel, Grace, Herman or Terrill would be interested in doing it. Bill Bream brought up the problem of DeWaine handling all of his duties, especially law enforcement, effectively. It was suggested that we call the sheriff's department and have them cruise the town form 4-6 in the evening in an attempt to control the speeders in town. Filing information was also suggested. Nothing definite was decided. Bill Bream made a motion the meeting be adjourned, Glenn Potter seconded it and the motion carried. CLERK MAYOR
