Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, December 4, 1968, Tiffin, Iowa The meeting was called to order by Mayor Bream. Present: Ned Allen, Dale Flansburg, Fred Moore, Glenn Potter, and Ted Spivey. Town Attorney Ralph Neuzil was also present. Absent; None Minutes of the Last meeting were read and approved. Mr. Neuzil read petition that the town is sending to the Iowa State Commerce Commission to request a hearing regarding signals at the Railroad Crossing at the south edge of Tiffin. Ned Allen made a motion to approve petition as read. Dale Flansburg seconded the motion. All in favor. All council members signed the petition. There were no new developments on the Ingham property or the street lights. Santa Claus will be in Tiffin December 22, from 2 to 4. Council members wives will provide cookies and candy. Mayor Bream will order and deliver goodies. Chadek will look at ditch as soon as he can. Dale Flansburg made a motion to send in Highway Commission Budget estimate as presented by clerk. Fred Moore seconded the motion. All in favor. Glenn Potter moved, Fred Moore seconded the motion to accept the following money: All in favor.
