There are several houses that still need to be connected to the underground electrical system. Rathje is ready to start work as soon as they are notified that the electrical work is complete. If the electrical work delays the start of construction this season, then changing the completion date to a later date would be warranted. From my conversations with Rathje, they are committed to completing the project this construction season. I looked at the soccer field parking lot today around noon. No water was standing on the pavement surface at that time. I know that the design was tricky in that area and that it would drain slower than other areas, but it was designed to drain away. Since the observation was less than 24-hours after the end of the rain event, I do not see it as a severe issue. I believe there could be a minor ponding issue just east of the Bella Salla sign (where the old and new lots meet), but the water there also seems to drain away or infiltrate within 24-hours There was an indication of where water had been (small amount of mud and damp pavement). Here again, if the issue persists for more than 48 hours or gets worse, then grading a small shallow swale to the S. Park Road ditch may be an option. Ben Carhoff
