______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS April 2, 2021 • Sheriff Kunkel will be at the work session on Tuesday night to review and discuss the current state of the law enforcement protection/contract the county provides for Tiffin. He will also talk about what he thinks the future of Tiffin’s law enforcement protection/contract may look like. Brad will have some data to share with the council about current coverage, calls for service and potential costs of establishing a City run Police Department. • A Transition Committee Meeting for the Fire Department was held on Wednesday, March 31st. Members of the committee will update the council on the progress of the agreement.
