RESOLUTION NO. 2021-037 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE OF DATE JUNE 15, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Thomas and Rene Poulsen, to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and Whereas, the location map, located at 2480 Highway 6 NW, Tiffin, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the annexation on a 3-0 vote at its May 12, 2021 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for June 15, 2021, to discuss the annexation of the property located at 2480 Highway 6 NW, Tiffin. On the 18th day of May, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson _____ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-037, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 15, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon _____ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-037, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 15, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
