I-4 - Resolution 2021-047 - Removal of Stop Signs at Redbird Run and Nightingale Drive

RESOLUTION NO. 2021-047 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF STOP SIGNS AT REDBIRD RUN AND NIGHTINGALE DRIVE Whereas, with the passage of Resolution No. 2021-038, the Tiffin City Council authorized the placement of additional stop signs on Blue Jay Court at the intersections of Fawn Avenue, Doe Avenue and Dakota Avenue; and, Whereas, the placement of those stop signs changed the traffic flow of the above listed intersections and called for a further review of the Redbird Run and Nightingale Drive intersection just south of Blue Jay Court; and, Whereas, the stop signs that are posted going northbound and southbound on Redbird Run and Nightingale Drive were deemed unnecessary, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the removal of stops signs on Redbird Run both northbound and southbound at the Nightingale Drive intersection. On this 15th day of June, 2021, at the regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson _____ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-047, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF STOP SIGNS AT REDBIRD RUN AND NIGHTINGALE DRIVE and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson _____. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon _____ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2021-047, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF STOP SIGNS AT REDBIRD RUN AND NIGHTINGALE DRIVE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereunto.
