0080: Remove modified subbase overrun quantity from Change Order #17. This quantity was initially included under category 1 federal funding in Change Order #17, then incorrectly approved in Appia. Change Order #17 cannot be unapproved in Appia, so the modified subbase quantity funding category error will be removed with this change order. 8270: Because the roadway has already been constructed with Modified Subbase, the placement of the existing modified subbase has been included for the removal and reinstallation of the roadway section impacted by this work. This work consists of carefully removing and stockpiling as much of the existing Modified Subbase as possible without contaminating the material during excavation, then reinstalling the salvaged Modified Subbase after the trench has been properly backfilled. Compensation for this item will be based on the actual field-measured quantity, for both the removal and reinstallation of the Modified Subbase. The estimated quantity of 88.89 CY is provided solely for bidding purposes and will be adjusted to reflect the actual quantity required to complete the work. Salvaging of modified subbase will be considered incidental to placement. C-Settlement for cost(s) of change 8270: Agreed unit price. D-Justification for cost(s) 8260: Agreed unit price. Unit price ($86.00/CY) is above the average unit bid price of the same item ($14.20/CY) when compared with the Summary of Awarded Contract Unit Prices for the item from October 2025 to August 2026. E-contract time adjustment These changes would have no impact to the controlling item of work.
