CHAPTER 63 SPEED REGULATIONS 4. Special 35 MPH Speed Zones. A speed in excess of 35 MPH is unlawful on any of the following designated streets or parts thereof. A. On Park Road, from Forevergreen Road southerly to 340th Street SW, except the designated school district zone along Park Road, which will have a speed zone of 25 MPH. B. On North Park Road from Oakdale Boulevard to Forevergreen Road. C. On Roberts Ferry Road from the exit ramp of Intersection I-80 west bound, north to the existing posted 25 MPH speed limit sign which is 15 feet south of the south entrance to the Clear Creek Mobile Home Park. D. On Roberts Ferry Road southbound from the Clear Creek Bridge to 340th Street. 5. Signs. The Public Works Department of the City will post speed limit signs consistent with the provisions of this section. 6. U.S. Highway 6 (Marengo Road). The speed limit on U.S. Highway 6 (Marengo Road) is set by the State Department of Transportation. 63.05 MINIMUM SPEED. A person shall not drive a motor vehicle at such a slow speed as to impede or block the normal and reasonable movement of traffic, except when reduced speed is necessary for safe operation, or in compliance with law. (Code of Iowa, Sec. 321.294) 63.06 CONTROLLED ACCESS FACILITIES. Speed limits on controlled access facilities are as specified in Chapter 140.
