F-1 - Jim Bartels Recognition Proclamation

PROCLAMATION BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN WHEREAS, Jim Bartels has served on the Tiffin City Council for over 30 years; and, WHEREAS, Jim has spent over three decades as a dedicated member of this council and community spending countless hours for the betterment of the City of Tiffin and its residents; and, WHEREAS, Jim’s dedication is also noted in the many progresses that have been made within the City but none more important to Jim than the purchase of the ground now known as the Tiffin City Park; and, WHEREAS, Jim has represented the City of Tiffin with the upmost pride and dignity; and, WHEREAS, it is appropriate and fitting for the City of Tiffin to show appreciation of Jim’s dedication and service. NOW, THEREFORE, I, Steven L. Berner, Mayor of the City of Tiffin, by virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the laws of the State of Iowa and the City of Tiffin, do hereby proclaim December 21, 2021, as the JIM BARTELS COMMEMORATIVE CITY COUNCIL MEETING. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto signed my name and have officially caused the Seal of the City to be affixed this 21st day of December, 2021.
