RESOLUTION NO. 2022-002 A RESOLUTION TO REMOVE SIDEWALK REQUIREMENT FROM SHAMROCK CENTER SUBDIVIDER’S AGREEMENT Whereas, the Subdivider’s Agreement for Shamrock Center was recorded on June 23, 2020, and, Whereas, the Subdivider’s Agreement calls for sidewalks to be installed in this industrial subdivision; and, Whereas, the requirement for sidewalks is mostly a residential subdivision requirement; and, Whereas, the current industrial area within the City limits does not have sidewalks; and, Whereas, the City approved the preliminary plat for the Shamrock Center subdivision without sidewalks as the City did not desire to have them installed in this industrial subdivision, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to remove the portion of Section 3, Development Requirements and Public Improvements, subsection (C)(4) Standard Requirements, of the Subdivider’s Agreement for Shamrock Center that addresses the installation of sidewalks. On the 4th day of January, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson ______ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-002, A RESOLUTION TO REMOVE SIDEWALK REQUIREMENT FROM SHAMROCK CENTER SUBDIVIDER’S AGREEMENT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson ______. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon ______ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-002, A RESOLUTION TO REMOVE SIDEWALK REQUIREMENT FROM SHAMROCK CENTER SUBDIVIDER’S AGREEMENT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
