______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL February 25, 2022 • The leftover dirt from the Public Works Building site started to get removed on Wednesday. Woodruff has mobilized their construction trailer with more site work to begin next week. • Shawver continues to make progress on the two test wells. I will have some test results at Tuesday night's meeting and we are expecting more results next week as well. • Item I-4 – Brian Shay will have some additional information on this item at the meeting for discussion to potentially change the City’s procedure to handle nuisance weed and grass growth. We have been researching what other local and similar communities are doing to help streamline the process and make it more responsive to getting nuisance properties cleaned up and mowed quicker. • Attached are two additional options for replacement chairs in the council chambers. The first chair is similar to the ones in the conference room but these have a reclining option. The second chair also reclines but has more of a padded backing to it and described as a hammock design. Delivery for both chairs are about 4-6 weeks out. • Also attached is a schedule or timeline for the proposed general obligation bond in which formal action was taken at the previous meeting to set these steps in motion. • Just FYI, I will be out of the office March 14th – 18th.
