______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS July 1, 2022 • Darryl High will be at the work session to talk to the council about a recreation center possibility in a building he plans on constructing. He is currently working on the conceptual drawing of the building along with costs and will bring those to the meeting on Tuesday night. • With the State passing HF 2130 (attached) which relates to all-terrain and off-road utility vehicles, the City should amend its all-terrain ordinance (also attached). Basically, what the City should discuss and give direction for the drafting of the ordinance amendment would be which streets to allow these vehicles on and what safety features (seatbelts, turn signals, horn) should be required. To help facilitate and participate in this discussion, a Johnson County Deputy will be at work session. On the regular agenda is a resolution to set the date of July 19th for a public hearing.
