______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS July 29, 2022 • Tuesday night we will start our department tours. Brett Mehmen will give the council a tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at the beginning of the work session. Everyone will still meet at City Hall first. Once the meeting is called to order, a motion will need to be made to temporarily adjourn the meeting in order to travel to the WWTP. Once there, we will call the meeting back to order and proceed with the tour. Once the tour is completed, we’ll come back to City Hall for the rest of the work session agenda. • Attached is a proposed draft of a Memorandum of Understanding for a change in compensatory time off within the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The proposed language would increase the number of hours that can be banked from 40 to 60 hours. It would also allow for those hours to be carried over from once fiscal year to another as long as the 60 hours are not exceeded. This item is also on the regular agenda for approval as long as direction is given during the work session.
