M-6 - Engineer's Report

City of Tiffin March 3, 2023 PROJECT UPDATE Highway 6 Pedestrian Underpass Inspection MSA is coordinating efforts to complete an inspection of the existing (but closed/buried) pedestrian underpass just north of the Clear Creek Amana Middle School and under Highway 6. This inspection will be completed in early April. DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Lotus Hill OPD & The State OPD MSA and City staff will be meeting with the development team on April 3rd to discuss various aspects of both developments as it relates to impacts to traffic on and along Croell Avenue. Daytona Estates OPD Preliminary comments have been prepared and were sent to the developer’s engineer on 3/8/2023. Park Place Part 8 Construction on this residential development is on-going. MSA is providing weekly project update reports to city staff. Shamrock Center, Lot 1 Review comments were provided to the developer’s engineer on 2/22/23. Shamrock Center, Lot 2 Review comments were provided to the design engineer on 2/13/2023. Little Clippers Day Care MSA received the site plan on 2/22/2023. Initial review is complete, however, additional information was requested from the developer’s engineer. Site plans were received on 3/31/2023 and will be reviewed promptly. Hawk Wash The revised site plan has been reviewed with a draft of the comments completed. MSA sent out final comments to the developer’s engineer on 3/8/2023. Additional easement and maintenance agreements have been reviewed. Tiffin West Development MSA received revised plat and drainage calculations on 3/30/2023 and are currently being reviewed.
