NOTICE OF ORDER TO ABATE NUISANCE TO: Todd Biles 3216 Bayberry Dr SW Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 PROPERTY LOCATION: 141 E 3rd Street, Tiffin, Iowa 52340 You are hereby notified that pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 51.02 of the Municipal Code of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, the following has been declared to be a nuisance existing on or near the above-described property, to-wit: 51.02: It is unlawful for any person to store, accumulate, or allow to remain on any private property within the corporate limits of the City any junk or junk vehicle. Please correct the violations by removing all inoperable vehicles and trailers and all vehicles and trailers in a defective or obsolete condition or place within garage or other enclosed structure within 30 days from the date of this notice. If these vehicles are returned to working order and remain on property they will need to maintain working order and have up-to-date registration and be parked on a hard surface. (Ordinance 2007-287, Section 7.02). Please remove all pallets, snowplow blade, yard waste and all other trash, junk, and debris within 30 days from the date of this notice. You may request a hearing before the City Council on the above matter. Said request must be in writing and delivered to the City Clerk within 5 days from the date of this order or it will be conclusively presumed that a nuisance exists and that it must be abated as ordered. If the nuisance is not abated as directed and no request for hearing is made within the time prescribed, the City may abate the nuisance and assess the costs against the property for collection in the same manner as a property tax or may proceed with the institution of a municipal infraction.
