K-4 - Professional Services Agreement - Highway 6 Reconstruction - MSA

SCOPE OF SERVICES PHASE 100: PROJECT MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION • Manage and coordinate project team, budget, and schedules. • Maintain communication with Owner, IaDOT and stakeholders on project. • Monthly invoicing. • Employ documented quality-assurance/quality control procedures throughout project. PHASE 250: DATA COLLECTION MSA will provide the following services to meet the following IaDOT Wetland Event Codes W00 – Preliminary Wetland Review • Perform a desktop evaluation to assess site for presence of wetlands utilizing publicly available wetland and soils maps. W02 – Wetland Field Work • Field delineate wetland boundaries within the anticipated areas of project impacts and provide GPS data points, field delineation data and report for permitting purposes. Assumptions/Exclusions • Detailed scope of services for Geotechnical investigations required for structural (box culvert) and pavement design will be provided under a separate contract. • Scope of services to complete topographic, hydraulic, and boundary survey services is provided under a separate contract. • MSA understands temporary asphalt widening of USH 6 and a permanent signal system at the intersection of Kimberlite St and USH 6 is scheduled for construction in 2024. An additional topographic survey will be required once these improvements are complete to prepare final plans. • Relocation of the accessible pedestrian signal (APS) pushbutton pedestals installed in 2024 may need to be relocated as part of final design of this project. Additional signal or aps push button design services may be required and are considered additional services. PHASE 300: UTILITY COORDINATION MSA will provide the following services to meet the following IaDOT Utility Event Codes U00 – Preliminary Utility Review • Review existing public and private utilities within project corridor via a desktop review of facility maps provided by utility owner through Iowa One-Call ticket. U02 – Project Notification to Utilities
