K-7 - Public Works Maintenance Worker 2024

AGENDA ITEM # K-7 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: May 3, 2024 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Hiring Public Works Maintenance Worker and Council Action as Needed ACTION: Motion SYNOPSIS: As Brian Detert has reported in previous council meetings, we are losing one of our public works employees as he is moving back to Montana. Philip Holten was a great employee and he will be missed. Philip’s last day is the end of next week and we appreciate him giving the City plenty of notice in order to try and find his replacement. With that, interviews were conducted this week. We interviewed some very good and qualified individuals and would like to recommend Sam Young for the position.
