______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS May 3, 2024 • Kam South and Ashton Rosen from Retail Strategies will be in Tiffin on Tuesday and Wednesday to take an inventory of the town. I will introduce them during the work session but because of the other items on the work session agenda, they will probably be given a bulk of time at the end of the regular council meeting during the ‘Reports from City Personnel’. Included in the packet is a short PowerPoint presentation they will go through during the meeting. • Jerry Waddilove, who has been working with the Faselts on the Grove Park Project, will be at the work session to receive feedback on the new proposed concept for Grove Park which is attached. Again, Jerry is simply seeking informal feedback on whether the new concept would be supported by the council prior to formally making this complete project change and prior to submitting it to Planning & Zoning. • Mark Kroemer, Sammy Rohlfsen and Austin Pehl from Atura Architecture will be at the work session on Tuesday night (either in person or virtually) to continue the conversation on the first set of plans for the proposed Tiffin Recreation/Wellness Center. Since the presentation of the concept exhausted all the available time during the April 2nd work session, there will be a lot to discuss Tuesday night. Please review the concept and the 3-D video from that meeting prior to the work session.
