I-3 - Resolution 2024-063 - Obtain Easements for North Park Road Improvements - DERS Development

RESOLUTION NO. 2024-063 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO SIGN THE EASEMENT AGREEMENTS AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS TO SECURE THE EASEMENTS FROM DERS DEVELOPMENT, LLC, AS IT RELATES TO THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Whereas, The North Park Road Improvements Project will be let and constructed by the City of Tiffin; and, Whereas, The City of Tiffin desires to obtain the necessary easements described on the attached exhibits for the construction of said project, Now, therefore be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, authorizes the City Administrator and City Attorney to execute the attached easement documents and to take all necessary actions to finalize the easements from DERS Development, LLC, as it relates to the North Park Road Improvements Project. On the 15th day of October, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson _____ introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024-063, A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO SIGN THE EASEMENT AGREEMENTS AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS TO SECURE THE EASEMENTS FROM THE DERS DEVELOPMENT, LLC, AS IT RELATES TO THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson _____. Ayes: Nays: Absent: Whereupon _____ Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2024-063, A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO SIGN THE EASEMENT AGREEMENTS AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS TO SECURE THE EASEMENTS FROM DERS DEVELOPMENT, LLC, AS IT RELATES TO THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
