______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL October 11, 2024 • Rathje is still working on Stage 1 of the Original Town Project. Driveway entrances have all been poured which means sidewalks are the next item to be done. The dry weather continues to help the project which means we expect all the sidewalks to be completed by the end of next week. • The four radar speed signs have been delivered. The Public Works Department has only installed the two signs on Roberts Ferry Road at this point. They will wait to install the two signs on Oakdale Boulevard until the final two readings of Ordinance 2024-516 have been completed. • Just a friendly reminder, the next Joint Entities Meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 21st at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by University Heights at their City Hall located at 1302 Melrose Avenue. If anyone has an agenda item they would like to have discussed, please submit it to me prior to Wednesday, October 16th. • The Joint Work Session with the Clear Creek Amana School Board is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the CCA District Office in Oxford. The agenda is attached. • Because of a number of different items that are going on right now, and with there being five Tuesday’s this month, I think we are going to need to have a special city council meeting the week of the October 28th. I will have more details on Tuesday night but please keep a couple of days open that week to be able to schedule a meeting.
