K-2 - Professional Services Agreement for Construction - Water Plant - MSA

4. Construction Management Services It has been assumed under this agreement that no services associated with Construction Management between multiple contractors will be provided, as such any such services requiring construction management services shall be considered out of the scope of the agreement. ADDITIONAL SERVICES Services that are not included in the above Scope of Services can be provided under separate contract or by amending the scope and fee listed in this Agreement. Examples of additional services that may be needed or desired for completion of the project include: 1. Additional funding applications and administrations not specifically listed in the scope 2. Additional meetings not specifically listed in the scope. 3. Accommodations for environmental hazards, endangered species, or historical or cultural issues at or near the project site beyond what is required for SRF funding applications. 4. Permit resubmittals and Variance requests (if required for permit applications). 5. IDNR NPDES Erosion Control Permit (if required, contractor to obtain) 6. Bidding, construction & post-construction services. Intent is to complete this under a subsequent contract. EXCLUSIONS MSA will not provide the following services related to this project: 1. Easement preparation, negotiations, fees or compensation 2. Environmental, Geotechnical, Wetland or Archeological Investigations or Analysis, if necessary. 3. Application, permitting and legal fees. OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES • Owner is responsible for accuracy and completeness of the information provided to MSA. • Owner will provide MSA with full information as to Owner's requirements for the project. • Owner will operate Owner's systems (hydrants, valves, manholes, etc.) as needed for MSA to obtain required information for the completing project. • Owner will provide timely response to questions and review of engineering submittals • Owner will authorize submittal of necessary permit applications and pay associated fees.
