Roll Call The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Kasparek called the meeting to order at 6:18 PM. Upon roll being called the following members were present: Eric Schnedler, Al Havens, Chris Olney, and Tim Orris. Absent: Skylar Limkemann. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve agenda by Olney. Second by Orris. All ayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion and Review of FY 2024-2025 and FY 2025-2026 Budget Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt and Council discussed priorities for the FY26 budget. The following items were discussed as possible items to be budgeted for: permanent restrooms at Deer View Park and Auxiliary Fields, lights at the basketball courts in various parks, lights on the Clear Creek Trail from Roberts Ferry Road to South Park Road, splash pad possibly at Deer View Park, water holding tank for current splash pad to water baseball fields, parking lot extension around City Park to the east, trees along Highway 6 until the entrance to City Park, council chambers audio/video and refresh and evaluating water and sewer rates. D. Discussion and Review of Proposed Truck Parking Ordinance in Residential Districts Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt reviewed drafted language with Council. Public Hearing will be set in the regular meeting for January 7th. E. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda or Reports F. Other Business G. Adjournment Motion to adjourn by Orris. Second by Schnedler. All ayes, meeting adjourned at 6:55 PM. A. Regular Session - Call to Order – 7:00 PM B.
