______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL April 11, 2025 • Item K-2 – After looking at several options for a fence on top of the retaining wall along the 300 block of Summerhays, this example seems to be the best fit for the situation. It is something that still has a residential look to it and can be assembled and installed by the Public Works Department. • Items I-7 through I-10 – These items are placeholders if the review of all the documents gets completed over the weekend or on Monday. If so, the resolutions and associated documents will be added to the electronic packet. • The City will host a Public Information Meeting (Open House) on Tuesday, April 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the Highway 6 Expansion Project. The Open House will be held at City Hall for all those who will be affected by the project or who simply want to see the extent of the project. Notifications have been sent out and information has been posted on the City’s website and Facebook page. • The next Joint Entities Meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 21st at 4:30 p.m. with a reception starting at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by the Iowa City Community School District located at 1725 North Dodge Street. • Just a friendly reminder that the Tiffin Emergency Responders Association Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is scheduled for Sunday, May 4th from 6:00 – 11:30 a.m. at the Tiffin Fire Station. • Just another friendly reminder the City-Wide Clean-up is scheduled for Saturday May 10th. We are finalizing the change in this year’s process of making it a drop-off only process and will be getting that information on the City’s website and Facebook Page very soon.
