PROJECT UPDATE  A Review of MSA Projects in Your Community City of Tiffin, IA CLIENT LIAISON: Andrew Inhelder, PE Office: 319.364.4773 Cell: 515.802.0906 [email protected] DATE: March 26, 2025 ON-GOING PROJECTS REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT DESIGN – CLINT WIENEN This project is currently out for bids. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on March 18th. The bid opening is scheduled for April 10th at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall. HIGHWAY 6 CONCEPT AND COST ESTIMATE – JAMES WATTERS PreDesign Agreement between City and DOT has been finalized and signed Public Engagement meeting for the project is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday April 22nd and held at City Hall. SYSTEMWIDE SANITARY SEWER MODEL – ERIC THOMPSON System modeling effort has begun. MSA will be identifying flow meter locations and install in early April to begin collecting data. Manhole locations will be verified with City Staff. Flow meters will be checked after large storm events and every 2- 3 weeks at regular intervals to determine when they can be removed.
