______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS June 13, 2025 • County elected officials (County Attorney, Treasurer, Auditor and Sheriff) have been exploring ways in which they can better interact with cities throughout the county. Those officials have put together a ‘County Elected Officials Presentation’ that they have been sharing with the communities in Johnson County. Each official will give a brief update on the activities in their office and would like to have a quick discussion on possibly setting up a rough outline for future visits with the City Council moving forward. • With the widening and off-site improvements completed with the Tiffin West Development, I’d like to start the discussion for the options of the traffic signal at Village Drive and Roberts Ferry Road. • Bri Wilkerson will be at the work session on Tuesday night to give an update on the planning for this year’s Rec Fest. As we’ve discussed previously, the location of the event will be moved to the open green space in the Park Place City Center. Along with Bri’s update, attached are some examples for a new logo. Please review the new logos and come to the meeting with the one you like best. Scott Andersen will also be at the work session to discuss current and future improvements to the same open green space area. As stated in the approved developer’s agreement, the open space ‘shall include trees, benches, pedestrian sidewalk, lights with banner arms, and an outdoor sound system, with specific plans as agreed to by the City.’ Scott would like to discuss these specific items with the council. • Time permitting, the Mayor, Council Person Schnedler and I would like to review with the council our recent ICSC Economic Development Conference.
