Notes for the Work Session - 10-14-22

______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL – NOTES FOR WORK SESSION ITEMS October 14, 2022 • The small committee that was formed to research the possibility of a joint public safety facility in Tiffin (Johnson County EMA, Johnson County Ambulance and Tiffin Fire) has concluded its tours of local fire departments. The results of those tours produced the attached concept from OPN Architects. A programing meeting was held with OPN in which the attached was reviewed and discussed. The concept generally includes everything the three entities would need to keep up with and be prepared for the local growth of the area. We do not have a hard estimate for this facility yet but I will have some budgetary ‘per square foot’ numbers for Tuesday night. I would like to discuss the committees’ findings with the council, feedback we’ve received from the other entities and potential next steps during the work session.
