Background Tricon Construction Group is under contract with the City of Tiffin for the Water Treatment Plant Upgrades project. The original contract amount is $12,182,553.00, with a net change order of $12,420.34, bringing the current contract total to $12,194,973.34. Pay Application #2 covers the period from August 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025, and includes: • Total work completed and materials stored to date: $801,683.84 • Retainage (5%): $40,084.19 • Amount eligible to date (less retainage): $761,599.65 • Less previous payments: $458,122.32 • Amount due this application: $303,477.33 The application has been reviewed and recommended for approval by MSA Professional Services, the City’s engineering consultant. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Pay Application #2 in the amount of $303,477.33 to Tricon Construction Group for work completed on the Water Treatment Plant Upgrades project.
