______________________________________________________________________________ CITY OF TIFFIN CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL October 31, 2025 • Boomerang has been back onsite doing work off the traveled portion of North Park Road. This dirt work they are doing on the west side of the road should help with the timing of the project when it starts again next spring. • Work continues on the sand volleyball courts. Pole anchors/bases have been set and the drainage system has been installed. The specific/special sand will be delivered next week. • The City’s Auditors will be here on Monday, November 10th through Wednesday, November 12th, to conduct the FY 2024-2025 audit. We continue to be very pleased with the partnership we have established with BerganKDV and look forward to working with them again this year. • The application deadline for the Parks and Recreation Director’s position is next Friday, November 7th. Even with a week left, the City has received 29 applications so far. Next week we will be finalizing the search and interview committee. • James Watters with MSA will have the cost estimates for the intersection options at Croell and Highway 6 and Kimberlite and Highway 6 for the reconstruction project at the November 18th work session. • Please check your schedules for a possible Special City Council Meeting to discuss the potential amphitheater project. As of right now, possible meeting dates would be November 12th, 20th or 25th. • Just a friendly reminder that City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.
