Tab on sheet O.01 HFC-592 shows 272.3 SY of PCC patch (minus the alley @ HWY 6, did not get removed due to utility conflict). There is no bid item for the PCC Full Depth Patches. This Change order request is to add this item to the contract. This Unit price includes, but is not limited to, sawing, removing, and disposing of existing pavement and reinforcing; restoring the subgrade; furnishing and installing tie bars and dowel bars; furnishing and placing the patch material, including the asphalt binder and tack coat; forming and constructing integral curb; surface curing and pavement protection; joint sawing and filling; and placing backfill and restoring disturbed surfaces. Adding this item will create a deduct in 4 other plan quantity items, #3 Excavation Class 10: 43.3CY@ $13.50=$584.55. #6 Modified Subbase 43.3CY@$42.00= $1818.6. #45 PCC 9" 272.3SY@$78.00=$21,239.4. # 54 Pavement Removal 272.3SY@$9.00=$2,450.70.This item is needed due to the crews time of the installation is doubled, compared to placing concrete in front of a paving machine. This will all be hand work, including drilling 1.25" epoxy coated rebar dowels12" on center(RT joint) and 5/8" rigid epoxy coated dowel bars every 36" (BT joint) in by hand and epoxied.
