RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 040 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, has the authority to appoint members to the Planning and Zoning Commission pursuant to the Code of Iowa and the City Code of Tiffin; and Whereas, a vacancy currently exists on the Planning and Zoning Commission for a term is set to expire February 28, 2030; and Whereas„ the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to appoint a qualified individual to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Now, therefore be it resolv1d, that the City Council of the City of Tiffin appoints Tia Showalter to fill the open position on the Planning and Zoning Commission, On this 16th day of June, 2026, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 040,A RESOLUTION OVING THE APPOINTMENT APPS", OF A PLANNING : ND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOVVA and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Orris. Nays: None, Absent: Johnson.
