RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 036 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE VILLAGE DRIVE AND ROBERTS FERRY ROAD TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT Whereas, the City of Tiffin and MSA Professional Services has received and opened bids on May 14, 2026, for the Village Drive and Roberts Ferry Road Traffic Signal Project; and, Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin has received the bidding information; and, Whereas, Neumiller Electric, Inc. has been identified as having the lowest, most responsible bid;;and, Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual process, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with Neumiller Electric, Inc. as identified and recommended by the City Engineer. On the 19th day of May, 2026, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 036,A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE VILLAGE DRIVE AND ROBERTS FERRY ROAD TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Limkemann. Ayes: Johnson, Schnedler, Limkemann, Orris, Olney. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 036,A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE VILLAGE DRIVE AND ROBERTS FERRY ROAD TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
