RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 024 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON APRIL 21, 2026, TO REZONE LOTS 56, 57, AND 58 OF TIFFIN HEIGHTS WEST FROM C -2B TO P- 1 IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, the City of Tiffin, Iowa has received a request to rezone Lots 56, 57, and 58 of Tiffin Heights West from C -2B Community Commercial District to P- 1 Public and institutional District; and Whereas, the proposed rezoning is subject to the public hearing and notice requirements set forth in the Code of Iowa and the Code of Ordinances of the City of Tiffin; and Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin finds it appropriate and in the public interest to set a public hearing to receive comments on the proposed rezoning. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of the public hearing for April 21, 2026, to discuss the rezoning of a Lots 56, 57 and 58 of Tiffin Heights West; and On the 7th day of April, 2026, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2026- 024, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON APRIL 21, 2026, TO REZONE LOTS 56, 57, AND 58 OF TIFFIN HEIGHTS WEST FROM C- 25 TO P- 1 IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Johnson. Ayes: Olney, Johnson, Schnedler, Limkemann, Orris. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek were declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 024, 2026- A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON APRIL 21, 2026, TO REZONE LOTS 56, 57, AND 58 OF TIFFIN HEIGHTS WEST FROM C -2B TO P- 1 IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
