RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 017 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, there is vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission; and, Whereas, this vacancy was caused by a commissioner moving outside of the Tiffin city limits; and, Whereas, the City Council appoints members to the commission for a five year term; and, Whereas, this commission member will serve until February of 2030; and Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Tiffin appoints Nick Ford to fill the open position on the Planning and Zoning Commission. On this 18th day of February, 2025, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTION NO. 017, 2025- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Orris. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 017,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
