RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 006 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN' S OPERATIONAL BANK ACCOUNT Whereas, the City of Tiffin solicited Requests for Proposals for the City' s banking services; and, Whereas, proposals were due to the City on December 5, 2024; and, Whereas, the City' s finance committee met on January 3, 2025, to review the proposals and would like to recommend Hills Bank and Trust as the City' s operational bank account while stillmaintaining accounts in the three other institutions ( Solon State Bank, Farmers State Bank, GreenState Credit Union) as spelled out in the City' s Investment Policy, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to approve the recommendation of the finance committee to establish Hills Bank and Trust as the City of Tiffin' s operational bank account. On the 7th day of January 2025, at a regular of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, meeting Iowa, Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 006,A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN' S OPERATIONAL BANK ACCOUNT and made a motion to approve. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 006,A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN' S OPERATIONAL BANK ACCOUNT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
