RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 002 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE STP- U- 52 PROJECT - 70- 615)-- 7662( NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Whereas, the Iowa Department of Transportation has received and opened bids on December 19, 2024, for the North Park Road Improvements Project; and, Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin has received the bidding information; and, Whereas, Boomerang Corporation has been identified as having the lowest, most responsible bid; and, Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual process, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with Boomerang Corporation as identified and recommended by the City Engineer. On the 7th day of January, 2025, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 002,A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE STP- U- 52 PROJECT - 70- 615)-- 7662( NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Limkemann, Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2025-002,A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE 7662(U- STP- 52 70- 615)-- PROJECT - NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
