RESOLUTION 082 NO. 2024- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF AN ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, approved job description and a authorized the advertising for an Assistant City s Administrator' position at the July 16, 2024, City Council Meeting; and, Whereas, initial interviews for the position were held the week of September 9, 2024; and, Whereas, final interviews were held October 2, 2024; and, Whereas, the interviewing and selection committee would like to make a recommendation for the position for City Council Approval, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to approve the hire of Ashley Platz as the Assistant City Administrator with a starting salary of 500,effective 101, no later than January 13, 2025. On the 17th day of December, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 082,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF AN ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Olney, Schnedler, Havens, Orris. Nays: None. Absent: Limkemann. Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 082,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF AN ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
