RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 081 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND THE JOHNSON COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COMMISSION FOR THE SHARED USE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY Whereas, The City of Tiffin owns ground on the north side of Forevergreen Road between North Park Road and Bailey Way specified as Lot 1, Park Place City Center — Part Three; and, Whereas, The City of Tiffin and the Johnson County Emergency Management Commission both wish to build separate buildings on this parcel of ground to serve their constituents; and, Whereas, Both entities desire to enter into an agreement, attached, to specify the rights, responsibilities and partnership. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to approve the attached agreement between the City of Tiffin and the Johnson County Emergency Management Commission for the shared use of City owned property. On the 17th day of December, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 081,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND THE JOHNSON COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COMMISSION FOR THE SHARED USE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Havens. Nays: None. Absent: Limkemann. Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 081,A RESOLUTION BETWEEN THE CITY OF TIFFIN AND THE JOHNSON COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COMMISSION FOR THE SHARED USE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
