RESOLUTION NO. 2024-080 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JANUARY 7, 2025, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COSTS FOR THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Whereas, MSA Professional Services has prepared the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents for the construction of the North Park Road Improvements Project; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa: 1. The date for the opening of the bids for the Project is set for December 17, 2024, as set by the Iowa Department of Transportation, and, 2. The date for the Public Hearing of the Project is set for January 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. and, 3. The date for consideration of bids for the Project by the City Council is set for January 7, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. and will be acted upon at such time and place or at such time and place as may then be set. On the 17th day of December, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024-080, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JANUARY 7, 2025, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COSTS FOR THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler. Nays: None. Absent: Limkemann. Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2024-080, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JANUARY 7, 2025, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COSTS FOR THE NORTH PARK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
