RESOLUTION 074 NO. 2024- A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF DECEMBER 17, 2024, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE LOTS 7, 8, AND 9, PRAIRIE WEST ADDITION FROM C- 10 TO R- 8,IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from University Lake Partners II, LLC, to rezone Lots 7, 8, and 9, Prairie West Addition from C- 10 (Restricted Office District)to R- 8 (Multi - Family, 7 or 8 Plex)in Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the exhibit of the property is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning on a 3- 0 vote at its November 13, 2024, meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of the public hearing for December 17, 2024, to discuss the rezoning of a Lots 7, 8, and 9, Prairie West Addition. On the 3rd day of December, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 074, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DECEMBER 17, 2024, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE LOTS 7, 8, AND 9, PRAIRIE WEST ADDITION FROM C- 10 TO R-8,IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek were declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 074, 2024- A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF DECEMBER 3, 2024, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE LOTS 7, 8, AND 9, PRAIRIE WEST ADDITION FROM C- 10 TO 8, R- IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
