RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 035 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED COMPENSATION STUDY Whereas, the City of Tiffin hired Hinson Consulting to perform a compensation study in 2019, and; Whereas, the City hired Hinson Consulting again in 2023 to update the five- year plan, and; Whereas, the City Council has reviewedthe results of the study and program recommendations which includes targeted salary/ wage increases and approved the study at the June 4, 2024, council meeting, and; Whereas, the study and its recommendations has required some additional discussion since its approval, and; Whereas, that discussion has taken place within this special city council meeting on June 17, 2024, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve the revised compensation study guidelines and make it effective on July 1, 2024. On the 17th day of June, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 035,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED COMPENSATION STUDY and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Olney. Ayes: Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Olney. Nays: Havens. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2024- 035,A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED COMPENSATION STUDY to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
